On Dec. 26th, 2023, the aggregate position by five groups of accounts for 10 clients, exceeded the position limit on Containerized Freight Index (Europe Service) Futures Contract EC2404 prescribed by the Shanghai International Energy Exchange (hereinafter referred to as “INE”). The aggregate position by one group of accounts for 2 clients, exceeded the position limit on Containerized Freight Index (Europe Service) Futures Contract EC2404 and EC 2406 prescribed by the INE. According to the Trading Rules of the Shanghai International Energy Exchange and the Administration of Accounts Involving Actual Control Relationship Rules of the Shanghai International Energy Exchange and the Administration of Abnormal Trading Behaviors Rules of the Shanghai International Energy Exchange, INE therefore decides to restrict the opening of any new positions by these clients for 5 trading days and restrict the fund withdrawal by these clients.
