To better regulate members’ foreign exchange management and cross-border settlement business, Shanghai International Energy Exchange (“INE”) has formulated the Clearing Guidelines for Members of the Shanghai International Energy Exchange, and the Guidelines for the Settlement and Purchase of Foreign Exchange for Members of the Shanghai International Energy Exchange (hereinafter collectively referred to as “these Guidelines”). These Guidelines are hereby released and will come into effect on March 20, 2026.
These Guidelines updated the content such as account management, filing of authorised clearing relationship, reporting of overseas financial assets, liabilities, and transactions.
The Chinese version of these Guidelines is available on the official Chinese website of INE. Please note that the English text is for reference purposes only. In the event of any inconsistency with the Chinese text, the Chinese text prevails.
